Seattleites are Stingy Tippers

So says Zagat. The most generous tippers? The notoriously surly folks in Philadelphia. And Donald Trump, of course.

We might suck at tipping, but really the waiters end up on top anyways because they get minimum wage as a base here--unlike many other places, where they make half or less than minimum wage because of the assumed tip income.
Just a thought...

The best tippers in my experience are Texans, Hawaiians, and gay men.

As someone who used to work in the industry I tip pretty well now, BUT!!! I found that many of my friends make more than me at my desk job, AND work less hours just by working a couple busy lunch times a week.
