OMG, You Guys! Hard Rock Cafe Is Coming to Seattle!

The Puget Sound Business Journal made the grand announcement last Friday: The Hard Rock Cafe is coming to Seattle! Sometime in the summer of next year, the multinational corporation will open a new restaurant in the Liberty Building, on Pike between First and Second.
Recognizing Seattle's critical place in the evolution of RAWK 'N' ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!, the Seattle location is somewhere around the 140th for the chain, whose service motto is "Love All -- Serve All." I say: finally! Biloxi, Mississippi, already has a Hard Rock Cafe. So does Gothenberg, Sweden. Seattle's grand opening will follow on the heels of ones in Beijing, Hyderabad, Bucharest, Phuket, the Singapore Airport, and Mallorca.
I'm sure the decorators of the new franchise are scouring garage sales and eBay sellers as we speak. Here are some suggestions from Weekly writers for HRC-worthy Seattle memorabilia:
A flyer from RCKCNDY
The pole from the crocodile
Kenny G’s first silk shirt
A map to Jimi Hendrix's grave
The first elevator carrying Muzak
Chris Cornell's dignity
A scale model of the EMP
Kim Thayil, encased in glass with his guitar, fed all the burgers he can eat
A stick of Teen Spirit deodorant
