Date Night: Crow and Betty
With the economy in such bad shape, we've all had to make a few sacrifices--but romance should definitely not be one of them. We just have to be a little more budget-conscious when it comes to choosing our date locales. Luckily that doesn't mean we have to give up ambience. We suggest checking out two of Queen Anne's most popular spots, Crow and Betty. Craig Serbousek, co-owner of both locations, is taking Dine Around Seattle's "3 for $30" idea and implementing it full-time. That means on Sunday through Thursday you'll get to savor a decadent three-course meal--with options like leek and potato soup, slow-braised lamb shank, and malted chocolate layer cake--without feeling like you'll have to eat beans and rice the rest of the week. Because if we can't go out to dinner as often as we would like anymore, we should make sure that when we do, it's going to inspire our indoor activities for the next several nights.
