First Thursday Art Walk, Pioneer Square, All City Coffee

Off the beaten path of Pioneer Square's First Thursday Art Walk sit the galleries of 3rd Avenue & Washington. Only two galleries show up on the Pioneer Square website for this triangular block also bordered by Prefontaine; however, more are shown HERE(annoying overusage of Flash alert).

No fewer than 15 galleries populate this block, including an outpost of All City Coffee--one of the most striking cafe spaces in the city. Pioneer Square does not suffer from a shortage of places to eat and drink, but most are tailored to the "pre-game" or dance club set. All City Coffee makes for a mellow alternative, serves beer and wine (Manny's on tap), and stays open until 11:00pm on First Thursdays. (They also bust out the turntables.)
