Moxie: Sold, Going Vietnamese
Come celebrate and say goodbye tomorrow and Saturday to Moxie with owners Peter Morrison and Laurie Carter, who've sold their Lower Queen Anne restaurant. (Selling a restaurant right now IS a great achievement). Morrison will regroup and spend time with his wife and new baby. Look for projects from Laurie Carter sooner rather than later. The space will become, as I hear it, a Vietnamese, Tamarind Tree-style restaurant.

Wow, a Vietnamese restaurant coming into Lower Queen Anne. It's about time! There's one on Roy but it's mediocre at best.

So just a head's up. Moxie will still be serving at dinner (as Moxie) until April 1.
In about a week, the location will open the Vietnamese place, but only during lunch hours.
After April 1, it will become the Vietnamese place only.
The staff at Moxie is staying on to work at the new Vietnamese place.
