Long Restaurant & Jelly Bar

jelly_bar.jpg
Long Provincial, the downtown restaurant from the people behind Tamarind Tree, opens softly tonight. My one word review of the space: sexy. Expect a menu similar to Tamarind Tree, with an emphasis on bright, clean flavors.

Although my hopes that the Jelly Bar would be a place serving Asian-themed Jello shots have been dashed, the space within doesn't disappoint, and neither does the tank. Here's hoping they keep the jelly tank cleaner than The Triple Door keeps the "quarium" portion of their Musiquarium. (Long Provincial Vietnamese Restaurant & Jelly Bar, 2nd Avenue & Stewart)
