Seattle Beer Week: South Seattle Open House

south_brews.jpg
South Seattle Breweries Open House: On Saturday May 16th, you could be an arrogant bastard and start your day at the Stone Brewing brunch at Linda's Tavern (opens at 10:00am), with head brewer Mitch Steele. Once you're warmed up, have your designated driver ferry you down to Georgetown Brewing Company (5840 Airport Way S.) for the annual release of Bob's Beer, a brown ale. From 10:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday, all of the South Seattle breweries will be open for tasting.

In South Park, Schooner Exact, Baron Brewing and Trade Route Brewing (9320 15th Ave. S. Ste CE2) will hold an office park cul de sac party of sorts, accessorized not just with what's sure to be a diverse line up of beers but also a bar-b-que truck. End the day in White Center at Big Al Brewing (9832 14th Ave. SW). Click on the breweries with addresses for directions, and start wooing your designated driver now.
