New Vietnamese on Queen Anne
When the owners of Queen Anne's Moxie decided to make a lifestyle change and sell their bistro last April, Tony Ly and his family didn't hesitate. In a flash, Moxie was out and The Signature was in. ![]()
Raised in Auburn, Ly spent the last 10 years in Wisconsin running nail salons, but had been looking for a place to open a Seattle restaurant for months. His family's new Vietnamese eatery goes beyond pho to things like curry chicken, lemongrass tofu, and Vietnamese crepes, with prices ranging from $3-$10. The recipes come from Ly's mother, who owned a restaurant in Vietnam. After a soft opening in March, the doors officially open May 11 (not May 13, as we originally reported), and Ly invites customers to stop by from 4-7 p.m. for free drinks and appetizers.
