Seatle Beer Week: Saturday, May 9th Highlights
Outside of being day two of the Hopscotch Spring Beer & Scotch Festival (now! with tequila!) from 1:00pm to midnight, Here are a few other spots to drop in for beery goodness:
Cask beer tasting at the Sole Repair Shop featuring Diamond Knot, Georgetown Brewing Company, Scuttlebutt, North Coast, and Skagit River. (1001 E. Pike St.,4:00-9:00pm)
Pacific Beverage Tasting at Bottleworks: Mike Baker, Pacific Beverage owner and member of Seattle Beer Cooperative (birthers of SBW), will lead a tasting through his portfolio of beers, from on-tap and the bottle. All for a measly dollar. (1710 N. 45th St., 5:00pm)
Laughing Dog at The Hopvine: Laughing Dog owner and brewer Fred Colby will play host, and Hopvine will have plenty of Idaho's finest on tap.(507 15th Ave. E., 7:00pm)
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to Hopscotch, where the Weekly will be unveiling our homebrew competition tonight. More on that later... Wanna follow the tweeters? Search #SBW. Prost!
