Happy Hour: Cafe Campagne Today, Campagne Tomorrow

Categories: Happy Hours

Happy hour at Cafe Campagne, which they dub l'heure with allure, means carafes (500ml, or two thirds of a bottle) of red or white house wine for $10 and half off the three-ounce tasting pours of any wine by the glass. You'll also need one chicken liver paté and gruyère sandwich ($1), one mini lamb burger with grilled onions and cheese ($2), and an order of fries ($4, not-so-happy price). Shared between two people along with a carafe, the spread will only cost $10 per person, the price of a glass of wine in most joints. (Cafe Campagne, 1600 Post Alley, happy hour 4:00-6:00 p.m. Mon-Fri.)

The regular happy hour at Campagne, big sis upstairs, runs Tuesday through Friday, 5:00-7:00 p.m., but on Friday you can partake in the bonus free Southern French bites from chef Daisley Gordon. (The upstairs pommes frites are only $3 for some reason. Très curieux.)
