Sass and Lollygagging at Watertown Coffee

​Watertown Coffee is a few blocks south of the cool kids of culinary gulch on 12th Avenue. It may not scream coffee shop as you drive by, and that's probably for the best. Watertown is like the giant living room you wish you had in college, complete with ping pong table. Laptop jockies will like the daytime, where they can ride the wi-fi til their battery fries. Lunchtime brings a mix of students and others on the go. Think of the food here as comfort for students, like grilled cheese and nachos. Around 4:00 p.m., the music changes and you feel like you're at the beginning of a house party. The baristas here are pleasantly taciturn, or is it delightfully surly? Get in here if you like your sass and were able to write that term paper while your roommate cranked the stereo.
