25 corks for $25 off
Bring in 25 corks for $25 off your meal at all Ethan Stowell restaurants--Union, Tavolàta, How to Cook a Wolf, and Anchovies & Olives. The offer is good only from now until the end of the year, so start popping those corks. Real ones only, please, as the ones you use to pay for your meal will be recycled into wine-bottle mailers through Whole Foods and the Cork Re-Harvest program.
At Stowell's restaurants (the first ones in town to make this offer, so far), each cork gets you a dollar off, with $25 being the limit. Sidle up the bar, order a drink, and plop down a handful of corks to pay for it. Or have an at-home wine tasting and collect all the stoppers to cover a good portion of your meal out.

It isn't simply a dollar per cork. The staff at Stowell's restaurants have been told that customers receive one dollar off per cork for each two dollars spent. 14 corks gets you $14 off a $28, pre tax & tip, check. A bit misleading, but still a nice discount.

Thanks Robert, for writing in. This isn't what I was lead to believe, from the press release (and PR person), so perhaps they're getting more cork hoarders that they were expecting.
