Non Sequitur: Deja Vu at QFC

qfc_saleshelf.jpg
You know that scene in Ratatouille when tasting that namesake dish the critic is transported through a memory vortex to childhood? This tableau at QFC did that to me. 1980 to be exact. Times were hard then, too. Mom was in the car (a yellow Camaro) with Luther Vandross blasting, as she was wont to do, while I ran in to get "a loaf of bread, a container of milk and a stick of buttah." Beware, that link will send you down the rabbit hole smack into childhood. Watch it with the littlest person you know.
