Suggested Reading From Tonight's Sold Out Cook Book Social
Sample the wares before you buy: That's the premise behind the Tom Douglas Holiday Cookbook Social, where local chefs with cookbooks come together to offer tastes from their pages.![]()
This wine-added event, (which, sorry to say, has already sold out) would have been a fun way to meet the faces behind the recipes, for a festive start to your holiday shopping. They include Fran Bigelow of Fran's Chocolates, Thierry Rautureau of Rover's, Matthew Amster-Burton (Hungry Monkey: A Food-Loving Father's Quest to Raise an Adventurous Eater), Leslie Mackie of Macrina Bakery, and Langdon Cook (Fat of the Land: Adventures of a 21st Century Forager).
