Food Carts Unfettered

For decades, Seattle has sorely lacked the staple of Big City convenience noshing: The Food Cart. Historically, onerous regulations have locally limited the cheap, al fresco wagons that are found everywhere else on the planet, from New York to Istanbul. But that appears to be changing. Smart folks at the Seattle Planning Department have proposed eliminating and rolling back some of the restrictions which have kept the carts at bay. Voting on the proposal could happen as early as next year.
