For those who could care less about the Super Bowl (or who need a very good excuse to get out of watching the game), a Spanish wine dinner might be more your speed. Catherine Reynolds of Queso y Vino hosts a paella and tapas dinner at Gaudi restaurant.

On the menu: seven Spanish wines paired with stuffed pork tenderloin, steamed mussels, chicken in creamy garlic sauce, and a seafood, chicken, and chorizo paella. Dessert is sweet custard topped with raspberry sauce.

Gaudi, 3410 N.E. 55th St., 527-3400.
Reservations: 518-1166 or quesoyvino@gmail.com.
