Food Porn: Hooked on Bai Tong

Those are just my favorite pants ever

I can tell you all about the food at Bai Tong. And I do, in this week's review. I can talk of curries and pad Thai, run down the twenty-year history of the place, describe the tastes, the textures, the smells. But none of that alone is going to be enough.

No, you have to do two things to understand the pure junkie love I'm feeling for Bai Tong's Thai food in general, and for the moo dade deaw Thai jerky with hot sauce in particular. First, you have to check out this week's Food Porn slideshow tour of Bai Tong's room, plates and people. Then you have to actually go there yourself (like, right now), order fearlessly, double-up on the moo dade deaw, and see for yourself how good it really can be.

Once again, Voracious photographer Peter Mumford followed in my footsteps after I was done eating at Bai Tong and got some good shots of the food and the atmosphere. But seriously, until they invent Smell-o-Vision or figure a way to print and eat the pictures on the screen? It's just not going to be the same.
