Owl 'n Thistle Offers Free Hot Dogs For Sounders Fans

Hoo...Hoo...can pretend to be a Sounders fan for the right to eat a free, hot version of the four-legged creature to my right?

Are you a Soundnerd? Can you pretend to be one, on game day, anyway? Do you like hot dogs? Do you like not paying money for hot dogs? Are you willing to suck down an obligatory beer in a charming Irish Pub within walking distance of Qwest for the right to consume one or more of these free hot dogs from a bouncer named Ian Smith?

Are you an aggressive enough panhandler to hustle enough loose change to purchase one of those annoying green scarves (sponsored by Xbox!) and shout "goal!" at the top of your lungs? Do you know what a "friendly" is in soccer parlance, and do you realize that Chelsea is more than: (a) a popular female name, and (b) the gayest neighborhood in Manhattan?

If you answered yes to most of the questions above, then you'll want to head to the Owl 'n Thistle (on Post, between Marion & Columbia just north of Pioneer Square) on Sounder game days for all the free tube steaks you can handle, given away at the front door to anyone remotely resembling a Soundnerd by the aforementioned Mr. Smith--no ticket stub required.

Seriously, though, buy a beer. Futbol players might be the biggest floppers on the planet, but surely Soundnerds hold themselves to a higher ethical standard.
