I Love Wasabi... but goodbye.
Calling all Capitol Hill-billies! This edition of Food News is 'specially for you.

After months of buzz, the Starbucks at 1600 East Olive Way is closed for a two-month remodel that, once finished, will become the chain's first store to serve beer and wine, according to Capitol Hill Seattle. Until then, you can get your caffeine fix from a curbside van on site.

In other news, Capitol Hill Seattle reports that sushi restaurant I Love Wasabi at 420 Broadway East is closed. A vegetarian Thai restaurant, Wedgwood II, will take over the space. Also, just up the street, the former Ali Baba at 408 Broadway East will become a Thai-Japanese fusion restaurant called Pinto Thai in August.
