But the place where the interests of the British and everyone's favorite club casualty intersect? Christmas, of course. Here are two videos plumbing the depths of the strangeness that is the holiday season.

First up is Stefon, bringing us all the inside scoop on Ounce, Oouunce and, of course, Blitzen, where they're having their 12 Days of Christmas Dance Party, which includes...

And then there's this: Chef Heston Blumenthal's "Hidden Orange" Christmas pudding, which is (or was) being sold at the UK grocery store Waitrose for £13.99. I say "was" because the stuff (which, swear to god, is just a traditional English pudding with a candied orange hidden inside) sold out in just a matter of days and quickly became an obsession among Brit foodies who (apparently) love shoving food inside other food just as much as Americans do. According to The Telegraph, in the days after Thanksgiving, the already rare puddings completely sold out--at some stores in a matter of hours. 25,000 of them flew off the shelves before most folks even had a chance to covet them. And the thing that makes them valuable is that, because it takes 7 weeks for them to be ready for sale, no more can be made in time for the holidays.

But did this stop the British. No. Almost immediately, the puddings started popping up on Ebay. On November 28, they were going for around 77 pounds (that's $122 and change). By November 29, the price had climbed to 129 pounds ($204). On December 5, one was selling for 250 pounds (about 400 bucks). And right now? One thousand pounds, no shit. That's roughly $1500. For one Christmas pudding.

Check out the video below and see what the obsessed are paying for.
