Whose Shoes? Part 2, Plus a Burger Recipe
Whom do you think of when you see a pair of orange Crocs? Yup, celebrity chef Mario Batali has made those attention-grabbing shoes an integral part of his ensemble. He owns, like, 100 pairs of 'em.

When we spotted this mystery chef weaving his way through the tourists at Pike Place Market, the first thing we noticed were his Crocs. They were walking him over to see his buds at Don & Joe's, the butchers who gave him his start. He's now in the kitchen at Local 360.
Any guesses whose shoes?
Say hey to Ben Frey! He's the house butcher at the new bistro in Belltown that focuses on sustainable foods grown/raised within a 360-mile radius. The red meat is primarily pasture-raised beef from Oregon Natural. And Ben gets pretty pumped up about weekly specials like bone-in ribeye.

He's a big fan of the house burger, too. Thanks for sharing the recipe, Ben!
