A la Mode Pies to Set Up Shop in Phinney Ridge; Cake Envy to Open in Greenlake
Capitol Hill-based pie-delivery business A la Mode Pies is moving operations and opening its first café at 5821 Phinney Ave. N. by September, according to PhinneyWood.com. The shop will feature pies by the slice or whole, Bluebird ice cream, and espresso.

In other news, My Green Lake reports that a bakery and cafe called Cake Envy is coming to 7900 E. Green Lake Dr. N., also by September. Cake Envy will offer cakes and cupcakes, as well as Caffe Umbria coffee and free wi-fi.
