Seattle's Top 5 California Rolls

• Hmmm, real crab meat or fake crab meat?  That's the question u need to ask when u walk into ANY japanese joint pedaling california roll.  Then, only u can decide whether to order it or not. 

• Cheese-its! It's just a California Roll. Even our corner teriyaki joint does a terrific one so there's no need to go any further than that. This is a waste of space. Really good California rolls abound all over the Seattle region.

• Going to Mashiko and ordering a California roll would be like walking into a huge warehouse of exotic cars and deciding to drive out with a Honda Accord.  It might be well-designed and reliable, but you'd be missing a great deal of fun. Hajime Sato is an artist.  Why would you ask him just to simply paint a room when he could make you a great work of art?  Go in there some time and order the omakase.  You'll be doing yourself a huge favor.
